Gabriel Mora

 

Born in San Andrés Islas, Colombia on April 16th, 1983. In 2005 he moved to Bogotá, where he carried out musical arrangement and composition studies at District University Francisco José de Caldas. Further courses and tutorships have been carried out in Colombia under Coriún Aharonián, Juan Ortíz de Sarate, Cesar Camarero and Victor Rasgado, among others.

 

His music has been played in the U.S.A and Colombia.

 

Beside his compositional endeavors, he is professor of music at the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Colombia.

Finally, he is founder and director of the Ensemble of contemporary music FOSJC (Contemporary music ensemble of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Colombia), group dedicated to the interpretation of contemporary repertoire.
